Pogo Cross
Welcome to a world of very wide rivers, absurdly not narrow chasms, and many many more large gaps that you, a very athletic pogo-stick enthusiast, just need to get across! And the only thing that can get you across? Quick thinking and mathematics!
The concept of Pogo Cross draws heavily from the game concepts of Crossy Road and the classic game Frogger and from the idea that developing mental maths skills greatly enhances the mathematic ability and confidence of a student.
The main gameplay loop is the same. Your player character is tasked with travelling and crossing many different gaps across your world. Each gap has a different goal to it, a different special task that you need to complete to travel to the other side.
You see, each gap has select pathways you can use to get across. Only certain floating platforms can facilitate your travel. These platforms all have one thing in common, they're all labelled with a number from a related set of numbers.
Whenever you reach a new gap to cross, you are prompted with the special property the platforms of this gap possess. These could be prompts like, "jump on the multiples of three", or "jump on numbers divisible by 42".
